Specialists in Personal Guidance

We support our career advisers to develop advanced guidance skills and practice through regular training and mentoring, ensuring a thorough and productive personal guidance interview process.

The Innervate Career Services Career Activities Programme:

We deliver group work sessions and career activities that incorporate the CDI Framework learning outcomes for key stages 3, 4 and 5. Helps fulfil the statutory requirements that pupils from year 7 have careers support and can both support and integrate with a school’s current career education programme or provide an alternative solution.

Local knowledge of employers, education and training providers:

We support our career advisers keep up to date with education and training providers and build an understanding of the local labour market identifying what is available in terms of future jobs and apprenticeships.

Systematic tracking and record keeping:

We record all pupil contact instantly in a purpose built database, allowing the tracking of pupils’ future plans and intended destinations, application forms and the production of statistical reports to ensure we are addressing the needs of all pupils.

Working with schools to implement their career strategy:

We gather and produce evidence and auditing activities.

Matrix accredited quality assurance processes:

We monitor and continuously improve the delivery of excellent career guidance provision.

Our impact:

  • Our schools have seen a reduction in the number of pupils leaving school in June of year 11 with no confirmed next steps or no offers of education and training places
  • Increased awareness of pupils understanding of their future career ideas and goals from year 7 onwards
  • We have ensured that colleges and sixth forms are able to offer suitable vocational programmes of study by mapping pupils career and vocational intentions
  • We are able to support our schools monitor and evaluate of their provision for CEIAG and work related learning and prepare for Ofsted requirements for careers
